Isaac's house have provided a focal point and a source of inspiration throughout my marathon challenge. I set out on this challenge looking to combine two of my life goals, completing a marathon and visiting every continent. I am now approaching the half-way point on the road to completing 7 marathons on 7 continents.
When I set out on this journey I came across Isaac’s house as I was made aware of the fundraising efforts of a local school called St Ambrose Barlow. Having looked further into the great accomplishments of this charity, it was an easy decision to choose this fantastic course to raise money through sponsorship.
This charity struck a particular cord with myself as I had previously been fortunate to spend some time volunteering in South Africa assisting at several under privileged rural schools. I drew particular similarities with the infants that I was lucky to spend time with at a nursery school called Ekujesu. These children were so happy and friendly despite the fact that most of them had been effected by HIV.
I am very proud to support a fantastic charity such as Isaac’s House. I feel there is no better course then support young children that are somewhat less fortunate.
If you would like to support Andy even after his fantastic achievement, you could do so at
